I have been working on two scrapbooks this week. The first one I will call the Four Way Baby Shot scrapbook. It is a simple photo album with slots for two 4x6 pics on each page, so each 2 page spread will show each of our kids at the same month as a baby. For example the first set is a picture of each of them as a newborn in the hospital. Next they are each one month, then two months, etc until the last set is each of them on their 2nd birthday. There is more room so I will probably add to it to extend it to the 3rd birthdays. This one is easy in that I'm not doing much to the pictures except sliding them in, but it has been quite a challenge of course to track down the baby pictures for the exact month from so long ago. I got some photos that I ordered from Kodak Gallery in the mail today, so it is finished except for a couple of spots that I just don't have (a couple of spots are missing for Delaney and I think only one for Josh). I am hoping that if I dig through my mom's pictures I'll be able to fill in the gaps. Anyway, it is so fun to see them like that and see their similarities and differences at each stage. The kids will love looking through that one!
The other album is one that will show our favorite outdoor places to go as a family. It is a 9x9 album (my new favorite size) like this and I completed several layouts for it last weekend at a workshop, and today my order came in with some more pages with the same color cardstock so I can add more to it. I know that this will be another of the kids' favorite albums.
Here we have my brother and his wife at Sea World. I tried to take a good one of the kids by the fountain, but it had been a long, hot day and so this was the best I could do.
They just celebrated their 4 year wedding anniversary. Awwww.....
Ok, I will post some more in the July folder later. Miss Ava has awoken from her nap, and she wants OUT OF HER CRIB *NOW*, thank you!! :-D
