This weekend was fun -- it was the yearly neighborhood garage sale. Our kids had fun hunting for "treasure," and it was fun to hang out with some of the neighbors. Sadie and Delaney quickly put our new floral arrangement and extra tea set pieces to work:
We spent some time with Devin & La Nan at their new house, and then we went out for dinner at a little Mexican restaurant in the next little town over. Afterwards, Ryan had to go help out a youth dance for church, so the rest of us came home and I put Napoleon Dynamite on for the kids. Josh declared it was the best day ever! :-D
Lucy got spayed on Thursday, so she's been having to hang out in her crate and isn't too happy about it. However, Miss Kimmy had some fun adventures in the backyard on Sunday while Ryan cleaned out her tank. She is still so tiny and cute. She is probably half the size of the palm of my hand. We have discovered that she likes crickets every bit as much as Frankie T. Frog, so now I get to keep crickets on hand for both of them. Kimmy is pretty gruesome with her crickets, though, so it is quite entertaining for all to watch her eat.
