spt -- the 25th hour

For this week's SPT -- what would you do with a carefree 25th hour in the day?

Answer:  work on my massive pile of unfinished projects!

(I'm keepin' it real for you, my loyal readers -- no make-up and lettin' the gut hang out!)

There are so many fun crafty kind of projects that I like to work on, but never enough time to do all of them.  I especially enjoy teaching Delaney, who is getting old enough to learn embroidery, stamping, scrapbooking, etc.  So much joy in finding little traces of her work (like this one on Dad's desk):

I could have a lot of fun with that 25th hour every day!

"is there a part of you, a part of your home, a part of your creativity that gets more attention from you than anything else?" (Why don't you come play next time?)

Well . . . I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and my favorite part is baking, and my favorite thing to bake is cupcakes, and it is the project that is the easiest to involve my kids.  I've done lots of cupcake parties for their friends, or sometimes just for us.  Yum!

I actually don't have much to add to this week's assignment, since I've already talked about it here and here.  Basically, I want to improve my health and my ability to serve others.  I am still really doing a deep purge of my house, and man, it feels good.  I am liking to see some empty space.

BTW, I cropped in a little bit of my green bathroom wall for you, I actually like the color after we finally got it all finished (it was only half done when Sadie got sick, so it was three months later when it was completed!).
